La poesia di Ivan Aksenov (1914-1921) nel contesto dell'avanguardia russa : un'interpretazione

Abstract

La tesi si propone di indagare il senso dell’esperienza poetica di Ivan Aksenov (1884-1935). Finora i suoi versi erano stati ricondotti agli indirizzi principali dell’avanguardia russa coeva (soprattutto la ricerca di un’equivalente verbale della pittura cubista). Grazie all’attento esame di tutti i testi noti dell’autore (ai quali si aggiungono nuove scoperte d’archivio) si possono tuttavia individuare modi di pensare e di scrivere che si discostano nettamente da quelli dei contemporanei. È così emersa un’idea di poesia che pone l’accento sull’espressione dei sentimenti e sull’organizzazione ritmica del materiale verbale. L’analisi delle caratteristiche linguistiche e semantiche delle poesie ha poi messo in luce una tecnica di scrittura originale che sembra riprodurre il monologo interiore dell’io lirico dell’autore. A un livello generale la ricerca mostra la necessità di ripensare il significato delle avanguardie in Russia anche attraverso un’adeguata conoscenza dei “minori”.

The aim of this work is to investigate the meaning of the poetry of Ivan Aksenov (1884-1935). His poems have been interpreted so far as a fulfilment of the ambitions of the main Russian avant-garde literary groups (especially the search for a verbal equivalent of Cubist painting). However, thanks to new findings in archives and careful analyses of all the known texts by the author, we identified ways of thinking and writing that appears noticeably different from those of his contemporaries. Aksenov conceived poetry primarily as the expression of feelings and as the rhythmic organization of verbal material. As we examined the linguistic and semantic features of the poems, we brought to light a very original writing technique that reproduces the stream of consciousness of the author’s lyric “I”. In general, this study shows the need to rethink the meaning of avant-garde culture in Russia also through a proper knowledge of the minor figures.
