Abstract:
Il rapporto tra il maestro e l’alunno è cambiato notevolmente nel corso del tempo. L’insegnante, in passato principalmente "dispensatore" di contenuti, viene oggi investito anche del compito di educere, educare in maniera tale da aiutare l’allievo a far emergere i suoi talenti, predisposizioni e capacità (non solo i talenti) nascoste o non ancora totalmente emerse, ma anche esercitare quelle in cui è carente. Una relazione umana che si crea nel tempo, che permetterà “alla ghianda, che già tutto in sé contiene, di trasformarsi in quercia”. Il lavoro del maestro costringe a mettersi continuamente in gioco perché si lavora con persone che hanno storie, esperienze e sensibilità che condizionano il loro modo di essere ed agire. Il docente, che riesce ad andare oltre la superficie e comprendere chi ha di fronte, può creare un ambiente favorevole in cui tutti vengono messi in condizione di imparare e far emergere le proprie capacità. Nella seconda parte, l'analisi generale del rapporto descritto sarà poi analizzata attraverso la lente cinematografica e l’uso del cinema nella didattica. La sesta arte, spesso legata a trasposizioni di romanzi, ha la grande capacità di restituirci anche il contesto storico-culturale delle vicende e questo aiuta a comprendere meglio i riferimenti alla realtà sociale. Diverse figure di maestri presenti nella cinematografia saranno messe a confronto al fine di riflettere sul percorso di autoconoscenza e di consapevolezza relativa alla responsabilità dell'essere docenti.
