Abstract:
This study is devoted to analyzing and describing how the phenomenon of subject inversion behaves in infinitive clauses in Colombian Spanish. This to determine if subject Inversion is mandatory in Colombian Spanish or whether it's optional. Special attention is paid to determining under which conditions and with what types of subjects this phenomenon appears, and the syntactic differences that can be observed between the variation of Colombian Spanish and European Spanish.
