dc.description.abstract During the COVID19 pandemic in 2019-2020 a large number of states introduced a certification called EU Digital COVID Certification. The validation of these certificates was done by scanning a QR code whose verification was not always easy and usable. In this thesis we have simulated the typical cases in which a QR is scanned in order to analyze the usability of the scan based on the variation of the data contained and the level of error correction applied. it_IT
