Abstract:
This thesis investigates the most relevant factors for performance in terms of innovation and digitalization of business model, processes and strategy for established companies. As the world becomes more digitalized, the generation of data is speeding up the processes within the companies. They are consequently exposed to disruption of their historical businesses from to start-ups able to redefine industry model. Digital enables new business models and virtual value chain to increase value for customers, performance and enlarge the revenue stream.
