Abstract:
In questo lavoro di tesi sono stati sviluppati sensori elettrodici per lo studio e la determinazione di specie elettroattive con proprietà chirali. Lo studio, in particolare, era rivolto all’elettrosintesi di polimeri con chiralità intrinseca sulla superficie di elettrodi convenzionali e microelettrodi. L’ottimizzazione delle condizioni migliori per ottenere polimeri stabili e con la desiderata chiralità è stata svolta utilizzando tecniche voltammetriche e, in particolare, la voltammetria ciclica, per quanto riguarda la caratterizzazione generale dei sistemi elettrodici, e tecniche impulsate per la determinazione degli analiti stessi. Lo studio ha evidenziato che le caratteristiche del deposito dipendono in qualche misura dalle dimensioni elettrodiche e conseguentemente dal regime di trasporto di massa che si instaura ai microelettrodi o gli elettrodi convenzionali. I sensori sviluppati sono stati anche testati in soluzioni contenenti specie elettroattive con specifica funzione enantiomerica o miscele racemiche.
