Abstract:
Gasdotti ed evoluzione del territorio è una ricerca che si pone come obbiettivo l’analisi degli aspetti geografici e geopolitici, legati alla “disputa” energetica mondiale sui gasdotti, con un approccio di tipo storico, ma fornendo anche informazioni tecniche.
L’aspetto geografico-storico, legato al fattore energetico, che attraversa il passato, fino al gas naturale di oggi, verrà affrontato a vari livelli: prima dal punto di vista nozionistico (per capire cosa s’intende per geografia storica), per poi essere applicato all’analisi delle trasformazioni del paesaggio, prodotte dall’azione umana (espressione della Storia dell’uomo stesso, in una determinata area geografica), non solo in prospettiva passata e presente, ma anche futura.
L’interessante intervento di Ferruccio Ferrigni, del Centro Universitario Europeo per i Beni Culturali, propone un’analisi dello sviluppo delle civiltà (ripercorrendo 6.000 anni di Storia, fino ai giorni nostri), che dal Medio Oriente si sono irradiate progressivamente sulle coste del Mediterraneo (e nel continente europeo), sottolineando che l’insediamento umano sarebbe stato condizionato dalla (variabile) combinazione di tre fattori: energia, capitali, tecnologie. Con l’avvento delle tecnologie idroelettriche, per la prima volta nella Storia, lo sviluppo del territorio cominciava a staccarsi dai condizionamenti energetici: l’energia poteva essere trasportata ovunque, mentre le città diventavano sempre più strutture erogatrici di servizi (settore terziario).
Oggi, il gas risulta essere un elemento fondamentale, dato che per i Paesi industrializzati sarà una risorsa sempre più imprescindibile e di vitale importanza; secondo Michael Economides (importante analista americano, nel campo energetico), il prezioso “oro blu” sarà destinato a prendere il posto del petrolio, come la più importante risorsa energetica, utilizzata dal mondo contemporaneo (già dal 2030).
Verranno anche approfondite le interessanti analisi di vari osservatori internazionali, che oggi individuano una strettissima relazione fra azioni di natura politica (ma anche di natura militare) e il dogma energetico (rappresentato dal gas naturale), in diverse aree del nostro mondo contemporaneo, come ad esempio nel caso scozzese (o nel caso ucraino); per meglio capire la situazione geopolitica di queste aree geografiche analizzate, saranno riproposti i principali aspetti storici, fino agli eventi dei giorni nostri.
Una parte è stata dedicata a quello che molti già definiscono il “Progetto del Secolo”, lanciato recentemente dalla Cina: l’apertura di una colossale “Nuova Via della Seta” (detta anche “Via della Seta 2.0”); una gigantesca opera di collegamenti ad alta velocità e di gasdotti-oleodotti (che si dovrebbe concludere nel 2025), che permetterebbe di fare arrivare le merci dalle industrie cinesi in Europa (in soli due giorni), mentre l’energia necessaria dovrebbe fluire dai Paesi dell’Ex-Unione Sovietica verso la Cina (attraverso una rete di pipeline, creata dalla Cina stessa).
Infine, è stata realizzata una lunga intervista ad un esperto, che tuttora opera nel campo dei gasdotti (dal 1976), la quale ha permesso di verificare alcuni passaggi teorici della presente ricerca, in modo empirico (“sul campo”), ma anche di apprendere nuovi inediti elementi (di varia natura e non presenti in alcun documento).
