Abstract:
This paper aims to analyze deeply the various forms of corporate welfare in the Italian companies, with references to both large companies and SMEs, understand the reasons for which these policies are developed and assume future developments for the corporate welfare in our territory. The first part contains a discussion on literature, how it is developed the welfare, what advantages involve, how it is regulated by the regulatory body, what initiatives were taken by Italian companies, etc. The second part focuses on the development of the business case of group Coesia, with specific reference to their innovative welfare policies. In particular, following from the beginning the project "Coesia for me", a survey carried out within the company to improve its welfare policies with a bottom up approach. In the final part, after analyzing the pros and cons of the policies of corporate welfare, it is assumed a system that allows the welfare of becoming part of the actual corporate business strategy, trying to replace that paternalistic image that has always distinguished the existence of corporate welfare.
