dc.description.abstract The Discourse Analysis is a modern discipline that studies the language of texts and considers the relationship between language and social, cultural and historical context. The Discourse Analysis also examines the way in which language creates different worldviews and identities and how much it is influenced by the relationships between the subjects involved. In this case I will analyse in detail the historical and contemporary events associated with ISIS. The network called ISI, the Islamic State of Iraq, was created in 2006 and since then there have been several clashes, not only physical but also written. What we can do with discourse analysis is to analyse these texts to be able not only to read them but to discover the message and the intentions that are hidden within the text.I will analyse the grammatical elements, the genre and the terms used, so all the elements that create the message and which tend to a certain political objective. it_IT
