dc.description.abstract This thesis focuses on the translation of the poem chosen from the book: L'Allegria of Giuseppe Ungaretti,published in 1931. Giuseppe Ungaretti,one of the most famous Italian poets, had a high reputation in the world. His works are translated in many languages, meanwhile there are very few poems translated in Chinese. The translation literature has a long history in China and has a very important status,and the Italian literature is magnificent, but it has not been paid the corresponding attention by the Chinese readers because of many reasons, but mainly because the linguistic obstacle. it_IT
