The aim of this thesis is to analyze of the double- entropic and progressive- view of time dramatized by Thornton Wilder in "The Long Christmas Dinner", in reference to the Puritan conception of history and time and to the Puritan narrative tradition as well. The thesis also analyzes Wilder's experimental choices which made this play a bold and truthful journey into time. |
