dc.description.note This paper proposes to analyse the major challenges facing the extra virgin olive oil industry throughout the Mediterranean region, starting with the reduction in production and the consequent increase in prices for end consumers. Through this thesis, an attempt is made to analyse the reasons for the crisis and how it is being managed in Spain and Italy, highlighting the key success factors of one country over another and attempting to offer insights for the future of the sector. it_IT
