dc.description.abstract Looking at the colonial nature of museums and cultural institutions, this thesis focuses on the work of Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama by proposing his installation piece "Parliament of Ghosts" as a pedagogical tool for the decolonisation of art spaces. Bringing together curatorial analysis, decolonial praxis and institutional critique, this research shows how a pedagogic approach in art practices can lead to the creation of new spaces that subvert established structures. it_IT
