dc.description.abstract This study aims to analyze the methods and tools used to evaluate cultural values, with a particular focus on their practical application in the museum sector. After examining the different definitions of cultural goods and cultural value found in the literature, the study delves deeper into evaluation methods, focusing on the "toolbox” approach developed by Randall Mason (2002). Subsequently, it analyzes the role of integrated reporting as a tool for communicating the value created by cultural institutions comprehensively and transparently. The case study of the Museo Egizio of Turin is used to illustrate the concrete application of these tools and methods. The analysis of the museum's economic and social impact, conducted by the Santagata Foundation, highlights the importance of these institutions for the economic and social development of the territory. In parallel, the analysis of the museum's integrated reporting shows how the museum can generate values in 360 degrees. In conclusion, the study demonstrates the importance of an accurate and transparent evaluation of cultural values to support decision-making and communication with stakeholders. The case of the Museo Egizio represents an example of how innovative tools and methods can be used to measure and communicate the value created by cultural institutions. it_IT
