Abstract:
This thesis examines the revolutionary impact of technology, specifically artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), on financial reporting and mergers and acquisitions. As technological innovations challenge old corporate paradigms, it is critical to examine their implications for financial processes. This study clarifies the multiple ways in which AI and ML are transforming financial reporting procedures and M&A strategies by carefully examining recent literature and empirical data.
The study looks into how AI and ML algorithms optimize data analysis, improve decision-making, and reduce risks in financial reporting. Furthermore, it examines the incorporation of these technologies into M&A frameworks, revealing their significance in due diligence, valuation, and post-merger integration.
