dc.description.abstract Social entrepreneurship displays significant variation across diverse geographic and cultural landscapes due to differing socio-economic, cultural, and historical factors. This thesis investigates the variations in the definitions and practices of social entrepreneurship between Kazakhstan and Denmark. Applying the Gioia Method, this study conducts semi-structured interviews with ten social entrepreneurs—five from Kazakhstan and five from Denmark—to explore how regional differences influence the understanding and implementation of social entrepreneurship. By identifying the challenges and opportunities unique to each context, this thesis seeks to provide insights that could inform policy and practice, enhancing the support systems for social entrepreneurs. it_IT
