Abstract:
This thesis represents the medieval scope of cartography, which has played a crucial role in rethinking our world, the importance of visual forms in shaping the concept of political history, and the processes of globalization. Maps have always been one of the oldest tools for understanding the world, forming spatial representations of the location of natural and social objects and phenomena. In addition, cartography in this historical period is examined through the way it records knowledge and influences political processes.
