dc.description.abstract The aim of the thesis is to explore the impact of Artificial Intelligence on labor legislation and the general opportunities and risks that may arise from both an European and Italian perspective. The thesis begins with an introduction to fundamental AI concepts, its functioning, and its evolution, effects on employment sectors and the general benefits, risks and challenges. It explores the current legislative environment and the implications for companies and workers and the perspectives for their protection and the current approach of the European Union and Italy to AI regulation. It is presented a use case related to the automation of personnel selection processes. it_IT
