dc.description.abstract Private Equity industry plays a very important role in the economical growth within the European Union. After the last two years where the market has contracted as a result of the financial crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the PE industry is registering new record highs. In this thesis I will try to examine how Private Equity funds decide where to allocate their businesses, and what factors do they consider when making this decision. In the first chapters I will brifely examine the current global and european PE market situation. Sequently, I will focus more on the location choice faced by the PE funds, with a comparison between the Italian and the Luxembourghis contest. it_IT
