Abstract:
The thesis explores the intricate relationship between cultural associations and sustainable development in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In particular, it shows how achieving the Sustainable Development Goals is a complex process that requires the attention of all governmental and nongovernmental bodies, and especially a new approach to economics.
Through a holistic method, the research aims to emphasize how he peculiar aspects of a cultural association such as La Laguna in the Glass can actually contribute positively to the achievement of the aforementioned goals.
Specifically, three different characteristics of the association were identified and investigated that led to these conclusions: the sustainability point of view, the cultural aspect, and finally the nonprofit aspect of the organization
