Abstract:
Industrial clustering has been recognized as an effective way for the companies to develop business partnership, expand their forms of interaction, and decrease the cost of production. Thus, the industrial district is also deemed as a strong engine for industrial development. The paper focus on the description and comparison of two industrial district of the leather tanning industry located in Xinji, China and Arzignano, Italy, using quantitative method to clear illustrate the trajectory of development of each industrial district. Finally, the author seek to figure out rules of the game of two industrial districts with the perspective of institutional embeddedness.
