dc.description.abstract This thesis provides an overview of a comprehensive study on the use of personality assessments in the workplace, with a particular emphasis on their integration with HR software and future prospects. The research looks into various personality assessment models, their advantages, disadvantages, and real-world applications in personnel selection. It also investigates how personality assessments can be integrated into HR software, specifically Microsoft Dynamics and Zoho, and investigates the potential impact of AI on the future of personality assessment within organizations. The first chapter provides a fundamental understanding of personality traits and common assessment formats. It examines the significance of personality traits in organizational settings and assesses the criteria for evaluating personality tests, such as assessment instrument length and scale reliability. The chapter also delves into various methods of measuring personality traits, such as self-report assessments, short self-report scales, and the measurement issues that go with them. The second chapter delves into popular personality assessment models used in business, such as the Big Five Model, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the DISC Personality Test, and the Birkman Method. It discusses the models' strengths and weaknesses, as well as their reliability and validity. With case studies from companies such as American Honda Motor Company and Skoda Minotti, the chapter also investigates how organizations use personality assessments in personnel selection. Chapter III delves into the role of HR software, specifically Microsoft Dynamics and Zoho, as HR and talent management tools. It goes over how personality tests can be seamlessly integrated into these software systems to improve talent management processes. The chapter also looks at the future of personality assessment, focusing on the potential role of AI in shaping the landscape of personality assessment within organizations. It also gives an overview of the data gathered through interviews with industry experts. it_IT
