Abstract:
This thesis explores the influence of religion and spirituality on entrepreneurship, focusing on Azerbaijani entrepreneurs within the framework of behavioral economics. It delves into the psychological effects of religion and its impact on economic decision-making. The study also investigates how religious and spiritual beliefs influence entrepreneurial motivation, goals, and behavior, with a specific focus on Islamic banking as a financial approach within religious contexts. Through a meticulous examination of the Azerbaijani entrepreneurial landscape, this research uncovers the interplay between faith and entrepreneurial decision-making, shedding light on the unique challenges and success factors faced by entrepreneurs who integrate their beliefs into their business endeavors. Overall, this study provides valuable insights into the role of religion and spirituality in shaping entrepreneurial behavior, contributing to a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship in diverse cultural and religious contexts.
