Abstract:
The thesis is about the affirmation on only-digital banks and an analysis of the social engagement of these new players in the banking industry. In fact, the first chapter starts with an overview of digitisation in the financial services sectors underlining the driving forces encouraging the affirmation of only-digital banks. It proceeds illustrating how these new players are altering the traditional business ecosystem and reshaping competition.
The second chapter deals with the rise of digital banks like Fineco and N26 and goes deeper into the Revolut business, how it plans to create value and what kind of services offers.
Finally, the third chapter concludes with an analysis of the social engagement of Revolut and eventually its competitors as to understand its digital strategy to mantain and gain new clients.
