Abstract:
This Master's thesis explores the impact of social networks, cultural values and financial perceptions on entrepreneurship in Lebanon, focusing on the challenges and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs in times of crisis. Lebanon has a rich history and diverse culture and remains a hub of entrepreneurship despite recent challenges such as political instability and economic turmoil. Through qualitative research, the study analyses the experiences of Lebanese entrepreneurs and how they deal with the country's unique economic, political and social challenges. The findings reveal significant obstacles and risks, but also a strong entrepreneurial culture and resilience among business owners. Finally, the study sheds light on how policy makers, investors and other stakeholders can support and promote entrepreneurship in Lebanon, especially in times of crisis, to contribute to economic growth and development.
