Abstract:
The paper aims to identify and analyze metrics useful for the analysis and identification of target countries for a company's internationalization process, following a data-driven approach.
In the first part, the literature regarding international expansion will be analyzed, in particular focusing on the importance of the location, starting from the generic industry, to innovative and high tech and concluding with the information technology industry. An analysis focused on data analytics and its application in this field will conclude the theoretical part.
Next, it is intended to delve into the topic by giving space to market choice, considering a broader and a detailed view provided by the linked company Beantech. It is a medium-sized technology consulting company from the Triveneto region with the need to expand its market.
Finally, the practical part will be presented, starting from the identification and selection of the dimensions, presentations of the data analytics work and the analysis of the final results. The data analytics model will be created for the evaluation of different countries, precisely following the metrics identified previously.
