Abstract:
The financial crisis of 2008 made it necessary to build-up a new European architecture, in terms of financial regulation. These needs have led to the creation and introduction of new discipline, which we can remember among others, the CRD and the CRR. Despite their presence, has played a fundamental role in the creation of a new prudential framework for the regulation of the financial market, new challenges need to be addressed.
In this Thesis, specific attention will be paid to the description to the new Prudential Framework, its composition, the field in which it introduced the most important amendments, the effect and the consequences of their introduction to increase and preserve the resilience and the stability of the financial market.
