dc.description.abstract The innovation of land use includes different parties, e.g., stakeholders, passive and active actors, institutions, governments, and more. They can influence, shape, and regulate land use. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to classify the actors and their purposes. The objectives of the thesis will be: ● Identify who are the actors that are innovating land use; ● What are the motives of these actors; Considering the aforementioned objectives, the thesis will answer the following questions: ● Which actors can we differentiate? ● What are the characteristics of those actors? ● What role do these actors play? I.e. what functions do they fulfill? ● What are the motives of those different? it_IT
