dc.description.abstract According to experts, our current economic system will require two planets to sustain itself. In the current global and European contexts, a new model of prosperity is required to accommodate the changing environment. A paradigm change is necessary, one that combines the foundation for human flourishing within the limits of the earth. This is why more and more nations decided to introduce bioeconomy and circular bioeconomy strategies in their policy frameworks. Every country needs their own specific measures due to the several differences, but they might share also some common features. This thesis investigates the differences and similarities between two countries belonging to the European Union, namely Germany and Italy, through a systematic literature review according to the PRISMA framework. it_IT
