dc.description.abstract The Master thesis will try to investigate the sustainability concept in the European Union framework and its relationship with innovation. Innovation will be a key determinant to foster sustainable growth for the future of Europe and keep European competitiveness. Two main research questions have been identified: - What is the academic discourse that links EGD, H2020, and Horizon Europe with sustainable innovation? - What is the policy perspective that links the European Green Deal, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe?? The identified goals are: Identify the pillars and main components of the European Green Deal, Horizon 2020, and Horizon Europe; • Find and understand the potential limits of the European Green Deal, Horizon 2020, and Horizon Europe; • Understand what types of innovations and based on what it is plausible to expect in the next years; • What type of industries will drive the supposed sustainable innovation in Europe; it_IT
