Abstract:
the object of this dissertation is defining what are the processes involved in starting a firm, and specifically opening the firm I have in mind. The objective of the firm is of creating an innovative enterprise, that is not present in the Italian market, that can sell a unique offer of insulation materials and impermeabilization in the sector of roofing, both industrial and civil. The roofing sector is valued, in Italy, approximately of 80 million squared meter yearly. The average price per square meter is 8€ for the insulation material, 5€ for the bituminous sheath and 5€ for glues and other accessories. This translates to roughly 20€ per square meter, estimating a total market value of approximately 1.5 billion of euro yearly. This market is served approximately 60% by the manufactures (that usually provide the material to big, structured firms) and 40% by the retailers (serving the other companies).
