dc.description.abstract Animal welfare is an important global issue for civilians in many countries. Nevertheless, significant gaps exist between practices recommended by the scientific understanding of animal welfare. Expectations and understanding of society as a whole. And the reality of animal husbandry around the world. The animal husbandry industry is arguably the single most important stakeholder capable of making meaningful decisions that affect animal welfare, yet it has little to say about the reasons for making decisions that improve or endanger animal welfare. Not asked. Understanding the motivations of livestock stakeholders to improve animal welfare is useful information in developing initiatives that benefit from stakeholder engagement. The purpose of this study was to assess the strength of the motivational factors that develop attitudes towards animal welfare and the factors that influenced the ability to improve animal welfare. This paper also provides an opportunity to better understand the strength and relationships of the extrinsic and intrinsic motivational forces behind improved animal welfare. it_IT
