Abstract:
The thesis intends to analyze some cases of good practices of recovery of former industrial buildings for cultural purposes. Starting from the historical reasons for the abandonment and recovery of former industrial buildings, the study will continue with the explanation of current trends in the field of exhibitions (immersive shows, interactive exhibitions, digital innovations). Some Italian and European cases will be analyzed to better understand the new artistic tendencies and how industrial buildings have been able to meet their architectural needs.
