Supply chain disruption due to covid-19 pandemic (Morellato & Sector Ltd case study)

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to provide a focus on the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the supply chain of Morellato & Sector Ltd (the company where I recently experienced my working internship) and to see how the disruption brought by the virus has affected the business of the company since the pandemic hit from the beginning, after having provided the related literature background about the supply chain overall concept, its disruption phenomena and the role of the impact of the pandemic on global supply chains. Starting with an overall representation of the problem by bringing a portrait of the background linked with the literature written above, the central part of the elaborate will cover the role of the covid-19 pandemic and then we will link to the case study: the paper will present both positive and negative sides related to the pandemic that affected the behavior of the company and how the latter dealt with and it is dealing with them, by concluding with the overall result gained at the moment.
