Impacts of Fiscal policy variation in the Northern Border of Mexico a study of 2012-2022

Abstract

The Impacts of the fiscal policy homologation of 2014 have been discussed by the experts with positive and negative impacts throughout the years, then in 2019 the Mexican government implemented a placed-based policy, that as well as the later has been under debate, due to their effects on the regional economy of the northern border region. The first policy change affected the 5 frontier states meanwhile the second policy changed in this same region but just in 43 municipalities along the border given birth to a Northern Border Free Zone. Given the data (Monthly) it can be estimated a middle term effect over the next two years of the last reform with effects on labor, business variation, employment. The analysis will be performed via empirical methods for the period 2012-2022.
