Abstract:
Japan and Italy are very different nations with their own culture and mentality, but they do share some common points together. The goal of this thesis is to analyze the happiness of young working women, making a comparison between the Japanese and the Italian nation. Happiness has various meanings and theories, in the business world it is connected to three different factors: equity, achievement, and camaraderie. The research proceeds in analyzing these three elements in the Japanese women’s working world and then in the Italian women’s one. Lastly, there is the study of what has been understood, making a final comparison between the two cultures.
