Abstract:
The thesis analyzes the phenomenon of internal corporate whistleblowing. The aim is to provide practical suggestions to companies in order to help them to develop the most efficient internal whistleblowing policy. A theoretical approach is used to analyze this phenomenon from the point of view of the employees and the company. This phenomenon is studied by analyzing the five fundamental elements of organizational architecture from a theoretical and practical standpoint. The analysis continues with an evaluation of how legislation influences companies' behavior and by describing how some big Italian companies have implemented their own internal whistleblowing policy. Specific and practical advice will then be provided also thanks to the analysis of the results of a survey designed by the author.
