dc.description.abstract We’ve always been used to saving money by using a porcelain piggy bank, but in the Fintech era and thanks to digitization, our moneybox is inside our smartphone. Currently, more and more Fintech companies are developing, and these companies can, with a simple App, make people save smarter. On the other hand, these Fintech companies allow us to gather more data about the saving and spending behaviors of people. Thanks to one of these companies, we studied the saving behaviors of their users understanding patterns of saving in the Fintech Era. Starting from one fragment dataset where a lot of data like age, investments, saving goals, and other variables were stored, we analyzed the patterns of saving among different groups of people using standard mathematical calculation, statistical techniques, and artificial intelligence algorithms. The aforementioned analysis allows us to discover insights and patterns about the behaviors of saving in the Fintech Era in Italy. it_IT
