Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed government agencies to seek new public health policies. For this reason, some applications such as isolation, quarantine, mask distance cleaning have been introduced. However, some of the cognitive biases of irrational people, predicted by behavioral economics, cause them to disobey these rules from time to time. The aim of this study is to provide recommendations for public health policies where the cognitive biases of people involved in the COVID-19 process are at the forefront. It is believed that effective incentive schemes that should be planned for this purpose can help government agencies and unreasonable people.
