dc.description.abstract The growing threat of climate change has led to a strong interest in sustainability, environment and climate issues, especially as a result of the Paris agreement signed in 2015. The shift towards a more sustainable and climate resilient economy has led to the creation of a specific sector of finance: Green Finance. Although this sector is constantly evolving, there is still a long way to go to standardize and homogenize this field. The focus of this thesis is on Green Projects, which are medium-long term projects with environmental and climate objectives. The analysis concerns, in particular, the financial instruments used for their financing, the necessary eligibility criteria, the required certifications and the sectors in which these projects operate. In order to provide the most comprehensive analysis of these projects, it has been necessary to study the methodology used for their evaluation: cost-benefit analysis. To complete the assessment, an empirical study of a Green Project is finally carried out. it_IT
