Through the huge amount of data and information at hand, together with valid and efficient algorithms, especially in the field of machine learning, AI seems to be establishing itself in society as the real driving force of Industry 4.0. Also thanks to research carried out in this field and in many application areas such as, for example, computer vision, natural-language processing, decision support systems and robotics, artificial intelligence has achieved unquestionable results, arousing not only the interest of "workers", but also of a huge and wide-ranging audience.
The presence of AI in everyday life is fueling enthusiasm, but it also raises questions, doubts and sometimes even concerns about what to expect in the immediate future.
The potential and prospects for the use of AI are steadily increasing: the aspects analysed in this report are related to the main results achieved at the international level in relation to the judicial field.
The aim of this dissertation is to present the striking impact that artificial intelligence has had on the Chinese legal system, starting from its definition, explaining what its enabling technologies are and analysing its implications, with a major focus on privacy, which has been much debated in recent years and has become a matter of considerable public concern. |
