ABSTRACT

"Mio fratello rincorre i dinosauri" is a moving story about Giacomo and his brother of Down's syndrome. If you read the cover of the book carefully, you will find that Giacomo is the author of the book, Giacomo Mazzariol. Therefore, this book is written by the author himself.

At the beginning of the story, has introduced the family members of Giacomo. Apart from the parents, Giacomo has two sisters. The female members of the family account for a large proportion. Therefore, when the mother announced that she was pregnant and it is quite certain that the newborn will be a boy, Giacome was very excited and Giacomo also gave a good name to his brother - Giovanni.

However, one day later, the parents announced that this baby would be a little special. They didn't know how to describe it to their children. However, in the child's heart, the first thing that comes to mind when they heard the word "special" was the superhero. He must have super powers! It is a mysterious gift given to us by God. Finally, Giacomo found that his brother had "Down Syndrome".

So, what is "Down Syndrome"? In this story, Mom explained to Giacomo about the origin and symptoms of "Down Syndrome." Down Syndrome, also known as 21-trisomy syndrome, is a disease caused by chromosomal abnormalities - an extra chromosome 21. This symptom was first discovered in 1866 by Dr. John Langdon Down, People with Down syndrome have obvious mental retardation, special face, slow growth and multiple deformities, which is the performance of Giovanni in the story.

In this story, there are a lot of descriptions about the story of Giacomo and his brother Giovanni. Sometimes it makes us angry, sometimes makes us laugh, and sometimes we may feel gratified.
