| dc.description.abstract | This thesis deals with inequality in terms of income distribution. After the introduction of the main inequality measures, I will describe the trend of the time series of inequality making a comparison between Italy and other developed countries with similar economic systems. I will discuss some of the most recent economic theories about the causes and effects of inequality and then I will proceed to consider the major economic factors, the impact of education and the role of innovation technology. | it_IT |
