dc.description.abstract Starting from a macro analysis of the sustainability problem in industry worldwide, the focus will shift to what are the possible solutions to be adopted to reduce the impact that companies have during their operations. The research will then analyze how to act on the supply chain to improve processes and efficiency, highlighting the importance of building the network in the choice of players, trying to understand how to evaluate the work done. Later, the focus will shift to the construction industry and the policies and strategies implemented so far to reduce the environmental impact of the sector, highlighting the importance of certifications both as a justification for higher costs and as a marketing tool. Finally, taking into consideration the case of LendLease, the research will try to find a point of connection between sustainable business model and profits. it_IT
