dc.description.abstract The human serum albumin is the drug carrier for many substances within the human body. The aim of this thesis is to identify the binding epitope of a lipid-modified peptide able to bind serum albumin with high affinity and specificity. Toward this goal, we synthesised and purified the lipidated peptide, and characterised its interaction with the protein by using advanced mass-spectrometry techniques such as tandem mass spectrometry and native mass spectrometry. it_IT
