dc.description.abstract Starting from the concept of Supply Chain Management, the work aims to analyze the hyper-competitive Fashion industry and in particular the eyewear sector. It studies how supply chain management can be a fundamental driver for competitive advantage and responsiveness in highly fragmented markets. The case study presented is the case of Luxottica S.p.A worldwide leader in fashion, luxury and sportswear eyewear. The work examines the entire supply chain and operations of the company through the experience and data collected in a six-month internship as Material Planner in Agordo plant, Belluno. Ultimately, the project through a series of interviews and data analysis presents a new approach for simplifying the supplier-manufacturer relationship. it_IT
