Proposta di traduzione e commento traduttologico di alcuni capitoli del romanzo di Mo Yan "红树林" ("Mangrovie")

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to provide a proposal of translation, in the literary field, from Chinese to Italian. The work was done on the novel "Mangrove" by contemporary writer Mo Yan. This text, like others by Mo Yan, deals with a real theme. Set in China in a village, it sees a woman as the protagonist of her own love and of a sexual violence, main themes of the story, in addition to the inclusion of the theme of feminist movements. The thesis is divided into: introduction of the author and the book (general presentation of the writer with an in-depth study of the book and its themes, its history); original text (these are the first three chapters of the novel); proposal of translation of the text; translational analysis (analysis of the work carried out, with a look at the problems faced during the translation phase, the different solutions and the translation strategy adopted). Finally, a glossary will be inserted including the most characteristic words encountered during the translation phase, as well as any language specific expression.
