dc.description.abstract Words such as “corruption” and “lobbying” in our modern world usually stand as absolute terms, invariable in their definition and meaning, we often ignore the fact that words like these not only can be used to define a specific set of situations, but they also describe what happens in a far more broad and complex plethora of cases, each one with its own forces and implications. One of the most interesting energy industries in the entire world is the chinese industry, for various reasons, such as the historical background behind the present People’s Republic of China, the great changes that are affecting the local politics in these years, the policies implemented, the close relationship between the governement and the chinese energy companies and also the importance of these organizations’ role in shaping the global scenery. it_IT
