Abstract:
The issue of corporate ERPs is widely discussed during the professional practice even if there are still some gaps in the research for appropriate methods of evaluation of their performance, even when plugged in specific sectoral contexts characterized by huge differences both in practice and in daily strategic management of business.
This thesis aims to apply methods of comparative assessment of the performance of individual criteria and alternatives in terms of ERP, developed by companies that can be considered as centres of administrative services or as real centres of management of business intelligence.
The literature review will be presented in the first chapter: it will show the main methods of investigation for the assessment of the performance of corporate ERPs; in the second part we will discuss about the method used for the specific business case considered. In the final part of the thesis we will present the results of the research and the interpretation of the conclusions discussed with the company’s management.
