dc.description.abstract |
The core of this dissertation is represented by literature on abstracts, prototypes, and the role they play in strategic methods and frameworks. First, artefacts, prototypes and affordances will be studied in both a social and organisational context; then, a variety of business methodologies integrating the elements just mentioned will be listed and analysed one by one. One of the methods is Lego® Serious Play® and it was the driving factor in undertaking this study. Lastly, focused research will demonstrate how artefacts’ current function within businesses is not of simple objects and tools, but of multi-purpose means for development and competitive advantage. |
